Role Overview

We’re looking for a Commercial Solutions Lead to join our team and play a key role in how we engage customers and partners, shape opportunities, and win business. This is not a traditional sales role. And it’s not pure pre-sales either. It’s a hybrid role spanning:

  • Customer engagement

  • Solution design

  • Commercial ownership

You’ll work across the full lifecycle, from first conversation through to signed deal, helping turn complex requirements into clear, deliverable, and commercially sound solutions.

What you will be doing

Owning Opportunities

  • Lead customer conversations from initial qualification through to close

  • Understand the customers problems and what they are trying to achieve (not just what they asked for)

  • Assess viability, shape the approach, and drive momentum

Running Discovery & Solution Design

  • Facilitate pre-sales discovery sessions with stakeholders across business and technology

  • Translate requirements into structured, phased solutions

  • Design approaches that balance ambition with practicality and budget

Delivering Product Demos

  • Confidently demonstrate Zoom CX solutions in a way that resonates with real-world use cases

  • Tailor demos live based on the audience and their challenges

  • Tell a compelling story, not just clicking through features

Building Proposals & Commercials

  • Write clear, structured proposals that connect problem > solution > outcome

  • Support RFP/tender responses where needed

  • Collaborate with Engineering to define scope, timelines, and effort

  • Support pricing and commercial positioning

Presenting & Closing

  • Present proposals back to customers with confidence and clarity

  • Handle questions, objections, and commercial discussions

  • Work with leadership to bring deals to a successful close

Working with Partners

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, including Zoom

  • Represent Acceleraate in partner conversations and joint opportunities

  • Support co-sell activity and joint propositions

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who can operate confidently in the real world, with the ability to move quickly without too much handholding. At Acceleraate we are all about delivering, and this role is no different.

Experience

  • Background in CX, contact centre, or customer engagement technology

  • Experience in a pre-sales, solutions, or consultative sales role

  • Comfortable owning conversations with both business and technical stakeholders

  • (Desirable) Technically competent - building demos/POCs

Skills & Attributes

  • Commercial mindset: You understand how solutions translate into value, and how value translates into revenue.

  • Structured thinker: You can take a messy problem and turn it into a clear plan, with an explainable way forward for the customer.

  • Strong communicator: You’re as comfortable in a workshop, as you are on a Zoom call, as you are in a boardroom.

  • Confident presenter: You can run demos, present proposals, and hold the room.

  • Pragmatic and hands-on: You get stuck in. You move things forward. You don’t wait for perfect conditions.
